Good posture begins with where you're carrying your head because your shoulders will follow. People have been telling you, 'Put your shoulders back' but the chin and head are still pushed forward.  If you're bent over toward the floor, staring at the floor, you're going to end up ON THE FLOOR!

That's why good posture begins in 'lengthened spine' and an awareness of where your head is and where you're looking.  These are important factors when it comes to balance and fall prevention.

Every time you think about your posture, straighten up, drop the chin and slide head back.
